Wouldn’t it be great if everyone in our
Diocese, no matter how frail or disabled, could participate as fully as
possible in worship and parish activities? It could happen if you work with

for your parish. It is vital that we have a disability rep in
every parish. Click

parish is one of the ones in blue, we urge you to think about filling the
gap. We promise you’ll find it easy and rewarding. Nervous about doing it
on your own? Form a group. Not sure where to begin? Don’t worry, the
CDF will always be there to help with training days and on-going support.

- Become a member of
CDF. Even if you can’t commit to being a disability rep at the
moment, please keep in touch with us and our work by joining the Catholic
Disability Fellowship and receiving our quarterly newsletter.

- Keep your eyes and ears
open. When you go to Mass, keep an eye out for any parish member
who might be disabled or particularly frail and who might need help. Be
especially aware of those with ‘hidden’ disabilities, such as deafness,
mental illness, dementia or Autism.
- Buy our Christmas cards and
anytime greeting cards. The CDF receives no outside support. We
fund our work – and our grants – through membership fees, donations and
selling our notelets and Christmas cards. For further information please
